Sanjay Ramchander is a Professor of Finance and the Senior Associate Dean for Academic Programs in the College of Business at Colorado State University. As the Chief Academic Officer, Sanjay is responsible for the growth and success of the College’s academic programs. His responsibilities include establishing strategic direction and goals for academic programs, new program and curricular development, instructional innovation and lifelong learning initiatives, student success and program services, program evaluation and accreditation, and program partnerships and rankings. Prior to this appointment, Sanjay was the Chair of the Department of Finance & Real Estate.
Sanjay’s scholarship provides insights into the formation and behavior of asset prices in financial, commodity, currency, energy and real estate markets. His research is widely cited and appear in some of the leading academic journals in the field. Sanjay’s teaching practice closely aligns with his research interests and includes an important global dimension. He enjoys teaching to various audiences at home and abroad, and is the recipient of the Fulbright-Nehru Scholarship award.
