Nicole manages communications, online web presence and administration for GBSN’s events and programs. She is responsible for developing and executing GBSN’s communications strategy, maintaining the organization’s online presence and manages the administration and promotion of the GBSN Annual Conference.
She has over seven years of experience in web design, digital and print marketing, public relations, event planning, and broadcast communication.
Nicole also serves as the West Africa Regional Liaison for the Johnson & Johnson Management Development Institute program.
Before joining GBSN in 2013, Nicole worked in the Public Affairs department at Share Our Strength working on their national campaign No Kid Hungry. Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry campaign is ending childhood hunger in America by ensuring all children get the healthy food they need, every day. She also worked in the government sector within the Public Affairs department at the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS). With CNCS, she provided administrative and logistical support for their 2010 National Conference on Volunteering and Service and their MLK Day Service Campaign.
Nicole earned her Bachelors degree in Communication Studies from Ohio University focusing on both public relations and organizational communication. She in the process of completing an MA in Public Relations and Corporate Communications at Georgetown University.
