Kardan University Earns Accreditation from the Ministry of Higher Education

Kardan University has received accreditation from the Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE) following the completion of three stages of quality assurance review conducted by MoHE external peer reviewers. Kardan University has received the highest accreditation score of 89.54 among Afghanistan’s five newly accredited public and private universities, including American University of Afghanistan, Kandahar University, Kabul Medical University and Kabul University.

The quality assurance review process includes on-site examination of the institution’s strategic plans, academic and administrative systems, management and leadership capabilities, research and innovation, student services as well as quality assurance standards. MoHE in collaboration with the World Bank’s Higher Education Development Program (HEDP) specialists interview staff, faculty, students and alumni and conduct a review of organizational documents, including a self-assessment as part of the review process.

(We are thrilled to receive MoHE accreditation following a comprehensive and rigorous quality assurance review process. This accreditation marks a significant achievement for Kardan University and recognizes our unwavering commitment to the provision of quality higher education to thousands of young Afghans) says Roeen Rahmani, Chancellor of Kardan University. (We remain committed to achieving academic excellence in collaboration with the MoHE leadership and Kardan University community.)
