GBSN Summits are one-day international forums focused on a specific topic that features models and issues salient in the region of location, with lessons that can be adapted and applied to regions around the world.

The summits attract some of the world’s foremost management educators from around the globe, as well as leaders in the development, corporate and public sectors to share ideas and network with a focus on strengthening management education for the developing world.

The summits are unique opportunities to network and to learn about trends and best practice in delivering management education around the globe.

Previous summits have been held in Singapore, Cambodia, Germany, Egypt, Peru and Morocco.

GBSN’s regional summits typically welcome on average 40-60 attendees.

Host a GBSN Regional Summit

Hosting the GBSN regional summit is an opportunity to support the advancement of management education in your region, while providing your institution international recognition among the world’s leading management educators as well as leaders from the corporate and public sectors.

Please note that the opportunity to host summit is reserved to GBSN members only.

Host Commitments to Host a Regional Summit:

  • Provide adequate meeting space.
  • Provide appropriate technology including reliable Internet connection (wifi), projectors, screens etc.
  • Assign a dedicated logistics team to work with GBSN and participate in regularly scheduled conference calls with the GBSN team.
  • Provide marketing support in promoting the event regionally and internationally and secure at least 15 registered paying attendees.- Please note that GBSN will provide the host institution with unique registration codes for local participants.
  • Provide support in securing sponsorship for the event.
  • Cover costs associated with meals and coffee breaks.
  • Provide overall in-country logistics support (i.e. securing hotel room blocks, transportation etc.)
