Daniella Hafner

Programs Assistant

Currently, Daniella is pursuing a master’s degree in Global Affairs at George Mason University, specializing in Global Governance and Public Management. Her blend of interests and experience revolves around international education, community outreach, and youth program development. She is a proud Afghan-American with a passion for foreign affairs, accessible education, and women’s rights.

For her undergraduate degree, she attended Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, Virginia and received a B.A. in German and International Studies. Daniella’s research focused on topics related to international development, German language and literature, and cultural anthropology. Throughout her time at Randolph-Macon, she was a four-year scholar-athlete on the Women’s Tennis Team and also worked as a subject tutor for the Academic Support Center. 

Daniella looks forward to supporting the membership communications and program development, as well as digital marketing strategies. Working with GBSN will increase her skills in nonprofit work, international higher education, web development, and marketing. She would love to pursue a career in the fields of international education and NGO development.

In her free time, she enjoys cooking, reading, weightlifting, crochet projects, long walks, lying on a beach somewhere, and playing solitaire.
