GBSN members:

Are Global Leaders

GBSN provides global visibility, international exposure, and a proven collaborative framework. Through their programs and partnerships GBSN members all demonstrate a commitment to improving access to quality, locally relevant business education.

Advance the Sector

GBSN membership provides a platform for schools, wherever they operate, to contribute to the advancement of management education for the developing world. Members make GBSN’s advocacy and outreach possible.

Engage Peer-to-Peer

Membership in GBSN is a way for leading business schools to build relationships with like-minded colleagues around the globe, train and mentor international peers, and find new opportunities to grow and develop individual professionals and their institution as a whole.

Membership is selective and is on an institutional basis only. Applications are reviewed on a quarterly basis by an Academic Advisory Board of GBSN member school representatives who look for business schools that demonstrate excellence, innovation, internationalization and a willingness to engage in GBSN’s mission and activities.

Membership Criteria

GBSN member schools must demonstrate academic excellence, leadership in their region and a commitment to GBSN’s mission.

Business schools that offer fully-branded degrees are invited to apply for membership. Satellite campuses are included as members when their parent institution joins and will not be considered for individual membership.

Applications are reviewed by our Academic Advisory Board on a quarterly basis and their decision is based on the following criteria:

  • Grant degree programs in business administration or management
  • The institution must have been in existence and operating for a minimum of five (5) consecutive years
  • Commitment to engaging in GBSN activities, programs and events
  • Type of accreditation
  • Membership in regional associations
  • Faculty profile
  • Strength in local market/regional context
  • Rankings
  • Applicants are encouraged to secure an endorsement by one or more current GBSN Members

Membership Benefits

GBSN convenes and connects our members around various areas of mutual interest, virtually and at events held around the world. We promote the expertise and interests of our members by giving them a platform to mentor and advise international peers, communicate their school’s news and open opportunities to global audiences, and share how they are innovating in management education to the benefit of their colleagues around the world.

Through our summits on topics in teaching business, conferences and professional development programs, GBSN offers management education professionals, and their institutions, practical opportunities to learn and develop.
