Event GBSN Member ExclusiveClimate change, demographic shifts, geopolitical fragmentation, and technological acceleration call for more than incremental change. Together, these disruptive forces challenge the fundamental assumptions on which we have built our institutions and communities. On November 10 on The Global Exchange, Dan LeClair speaks with Blair Sheppard about his new book, Reinventing the World: The Guide for Confronting Global Disruption and Creating Hope for Tomorrow, which draws on his decades of experience in academia and global consulting. The conversation will include big-picture takeaways about the future of business education, as well as practical guidance to help individuals and organizations know what to focus on, where to begin, and how to build toward a better future in a transformed world. Faculty and leaders from GBSN member institutions are invited to join the virtual conversation.
2027 International Summer School
Program OpportunitiesUniversidad de los Andes School of Management is accepting course proposals for online and on-campus courses for its 2027 International Summer School. The 2026 edition hosted faculty from nine countries and served 420 students. Course proposals are due October 31, with results shared in late November and course delivery taking place June 7 – July 16, 2027. To submit a course proposal, complete the application form for online courses or on-campus courses in Bogotá, Colombia and submit the required documents via email.
Governing AI for Climate Finance
Call for PapersCambridge Forum on Corporate Climate Governance explores how actions to address climate change by the corporate sector can contribute to a sustainable future and the decision-making processes, and legal, regulatory and financial frameworks required to facilitate this. The journal invites submissions for the upcoming themed issue: Governing Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Climate Finance, guest edited by Isabela Ribeiro Damaso Maia (Central Bank of Brazil, Brazil), Viviane Helena Torinelli (Central Bank of Brazil, FDC and FIA Business School, Brazil), Michel Alexandre (Central Bank of Brazil and IDP, Brazil) and Runhuan Feng (Tsinghua University, China). The deadline for submissions is 5 January 2027.
Social Logistics Challenge
Competitions Program OpportunitiesThe Social Logistics Challenge invites teams of 2-5 actively enrolled students to choose a social logistics challenge in areas like humanitarian supply chains, food systems, urban mobility, or environmental logistics and design an actionable, business-driven solution to that problem. Students build entrepreneurial and leadership skills, connect with peers and professionals worldwide, earn an international micro-credential, and compete for scholarships for the top three teams. Applications are due November 1.

Global Governance Summit 2026
EventNow in its fourth year, the Global Governance Summit will take place virtually on 15 October 2026 from 14:00-16:30 SAST. This year’s theme is Legitimacy, Leadership and the Future of Governance: Trust Is the New Currency of Leadership. Program Opportunities GBSN Member ExclusiveThe Global Business Student Changemaker program is a partnership between GBSN and How to Change the World that offers GBSN member students the opportunity to catalyze international collaboration, contribute to sustainable development and community engagement, and advance academic excellence and real-world problem-solving. Participants receive a “Changemaker” badge (a recognition they can add to their CVs and LinkedIn), and gain access to an intensive, multi-university and interdisciplinary Global Sustainability Project Bootcamp run by How to Change the World, as well as a series of curated, highly interactive global virtual events led by GBSN. GBSN member institutions can inquire about participating in the program at any time throughout the year.
