MEA Family Business Research Conference
Call for AbstractsThe Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (CEI) at Onsi Sawiris School of Business, The American University in Cairo (AUC) invites researchers and scholars to submit abstracts for the 2026 MEA Family Business Research Conference, taking place on December 1–2, 2026, at the AUC New Cairo Campus under the theme Beyond Continuity: Power, People, and the Future of Family Businesses. The conference serves as a regional platform for advancing research and dialogue on family enterprises, bringing together academics, practitioners, family business leaders, and policymakers from across the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region. The deadline for abstract submission is July 23, 2026.
GBSN for Business and Human Rights Impact Community 10th Annual Meeting
EventMembers of the GBSN for Business and Human Rights Impact Community as well as individuals who are affiliated with a business school or teach business students are invited to attend the GBSN for BHR 10th Annual Meeting, taking place on Monday, November 23 in Geneva, Switzerland and online. At this year’s meeting, key topics include the role of human rights in AI development, building locally relevant teaching resources with partners in Africa and Latin America, and bridging the gap between academic research and real-world practice.

EventGBSN Beyond is the Global Business School Network’s flagship annual event for business school administrators, faculty, and leaders in industry and policy. The program is designed to get below the surface of the most pressing topics in our community and forge new connections across disciplines, institutions, and sectors. GBSN Beyond 2026, From Potential to Progress: The Transformative Role of Business Schools, will take place October 26–28, 2026 in Bucharest, Romania, hosted by the Bucharest University of Economic Studies (ASE).
Global Governance Summit 2026
EventNow in its fourth year, the Global Governance Summit will take place virtually on 15 October 2026 from 14:00-16:30 SAST. This year’s theme is Legitimacy, Leadership and the Future of Governance: Trust Is the New Currency of Leadership. The program will focus on institutional trust, governance, leadership legitimacy, responsible business education and the role of business schools in strengthening credible institutions. The event is hosted by the South African Business Schools Association in partnership with the Good Governance Academy, AACSB, and GBSN.
Global Business Student Changemaker Program
Program Opportunities GBSN Member ExclusiveThe Global Business Student Changemaker program is a partnership between GBSN and How to Change the World that offers GBSN member students the opportunity to catalyze international collaboration, contribute to sustainable development and community engagement, and advance academic excellence and real-world problem-solving. Participants receive a “Changemaker” badge (a recognition they can add to their CVs and LinkedIn), and gain access to an intensive, multi-university and interdisciplinary Global Sustainability Project Bootcamp run by How to Change the World, as well as a series of curated, highly interactive global virtual events led by GBSN. GBSN member institutions can inquire about participating in the program at any time throughout the year.
