Yasmine Sabri

I bring extensive subject expertise and academic leadership experience across supply chain management, logistics, operations, procurement, research methods, and supply chain planning. I am currently an Associate Professor (Senior Lecturer) in Supply Chain Management at Loughborough Business School, where I am leading the MSc Supply Chain Management within the UK SCALE Centre (part of the MIT SCALE Network), and lead work relating to developing international degree programme partnerships and lifelong learning provision. I also bring substantial experience in UK HE education quality assurance and programme governance. At UCL, I served as a Director of Education and Student Experience, contributing to the department’s Senior Management Team, Faculty Education Committee and UCL Academic Board, while chairing departmental committees for education, curriculum development, teaching leadership and student-staff consultation. My work in that role resulted in streamlining our teaching provision, limiting timetabling clashes, avoiding issues of rooming, improved and simplified the curriculum structure of several PGT and UG programmes. This has helped make the biggest impact on student experience. I also supported colleagues in designing effective teaching, learning and assessment approaches. Prior to this, at Aston University, I was Programme Director for BSc Logistics with Supply Chain Management and Teaching Excellence Lead for the logistics and supply chain subject area, with responsibility for developing education strategy, supporting TEF-related enhancement and professional accreditation engagement with CILT and CIPS. I hold Senior Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy, and Chartered Membership of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport.
