Christa Searle

Dr Christa Searle is an Associate Professor in Business Analytics, Operations Research and Simulation Modelling at Heriot-Watt University’s Edinburgh Business School. Her research focuses on logistics, sustainability, and human behaviour modelling, including work on forced migration, opinion dynamics in social systems, sustainable freight, and urban systems. Using agent-based simulation and data-driven methods, she develops insights that help address complex social, environmental, and logistical challenges.
