An award-winning researcher, Dr Sa Thin Wetsandornphong is an Assistant Professor in Supply Chain Management at Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University, where he leads courses in the field. His teaching portfolio encompasses supply chain management, operations management, quality management, project management, consultancy, and project and research supervision. He is an active member of the Centre for Sustainable Road Freight, a strategic collaboration between the University of Cambridge and the University of Southampton, and the £46 million TransiT Hub, the UK’s largest research programme focused on accelerating transport decarbonisation through the development of interconnected digital twins. This is underpinned by more than a decade of experience across a diverse range of industries and organisational settings, enabling him to bridge theory and practice through impactful research, industry engagement, and teaching.
