Background
The digital transformation of finance is coming down in history. In this rapidly transforming environment, it is imperative to keep acquiring new skills and knowledge to stay competitive.
That is why we are pleased to partner with Centre for Finance, Technology and Entrepreneurship on the GBSN-CFTE Center for Excellence in FinTech.
The goal of this impact community is not only to introduce the new GBSN-CFTE Center for Excellence in FinTech, but also to dissect and diversify digital technological changes impacting banking, insurance, and other sectors of the finance industry. The focus is to identify the challenges that developing countries face going from their traditional financial infrastructures, to a revolutionized one.
We invite academic faculty, administrators from institutions to join practitioners across the world to help us launch this new GBSN IMPACT Community.
Objectives
The GBSN Impact Community for Financial Technology & Entrepreneurship is designed to have the following general objectives:
Increase access to fintech education, including courses and experiential/project-based learning
Advance local fintech knowledge and impact on practice
