Griet Houbrechts has been with EFMD since 1994, when she joined the International Programmes Unit. After five years working on a variety of projects with the Arab World, she moved to become Manager and later Director of EFMD’s Business School Services.
Since 2010, Griet divides her time between her B&B in the Southwest of France and EFMD Global Network. In her current role as Senior Advisor for EFMD GN, she focuses currently on supporting the development of BSIS (Business School Impact Survey) and AHRMIO (Association for HR Management in International Organizations).
Griet graduated from K.U. Leuven with a Master’s degree in Modern History. Her original field of post-graduate activity at K.U. Leuven comprised various historical research projects. Her experience with the organization of large international events included a major exhibition on the history of science and technology in China and the responsibility for international exhibitors to Flanders Technology International, a technology trade fair.
