Deb is the recipient of the U.S. EPA Career Achievment Award (2017) for her 38 years of service to EPA particularly in contributions to establishing the environmental mediation and public involvement programs. This is the highest career award given by a federal agency.
Deb is also the recipient of the Sharon Pickett Award (2018) for Contributions to Environmental Mediation awarded by the national Association for Conflict Resolution for her work in creating and advocating for federal government programs in environmental mediation.
