Liyan Chen began her role in AACSB as a membership representative in 2014, supporting educational members across 12 locations in Asia Pacific. While in the role, she coordinated semi-annual Asia Pacific Advisory Council meetings, provided onsite support and execution of several Asia Pacific seminars and conferences, developed and executed a country-specific focus speaker series, and coordinated multiple school visits in the region. In 2017, Chen transitioned to provide accreditation services and support, and currently manages a portfolio of Asia Pacific schools. Aside from responding to schools’ accreditation queries, Chen also serves as a point of contact between accreditation volunteers and schools, and contributes to the Asia Pacific team’s wider goals such as membership recruitment, retention and outreach through presentations and participation at events, content development and facilitation of accreditation related training and seminars
