Aziza Menouni is an international consultant with a multidisciplinary background and extensive experience in the design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of academic, research, and development projects and strategies.

Aziza’s journey commenced as an Associate Consultant at NORC at the University of Chicago, where she honed her craft in project monitoring and evaluation. These formative years instilled in her a relentless pursuit of driving change for more evidence-based management, community-driven initiatives, and impactful actions. 

Aziza is currently the Program Manager of Institutional University Cooperation at Moulay Ismail University of Meknes in Morocco. Her dynamic role encompasses the strategic orchestration of collaborative efforts that propel academia into new frontiers. At the same time, she is the project manager of the Center for Public Policies Evaluation, leading the charge in evaluating the impact of entrepreneurship programs in Morocco. She has honed her skills in empathy and team building while working with over 50 partners and more than 600 academicians, developing her capacity to forge lasting connections and drive collective progress.

Aziza’s entrepreneurial prowess shines as the President and Founder of Synergia, an NGO nurturing the entrepreneurial skills of young students. With an unwavering commitment to sustainable development and green initiatives, she advocates for a new era of business leaders who are not only profit-driven but also environmentally and socially conscious. Her strategic insights and hands-on experience have given her a deep understanding of the challenges faced by students and aspiring entrepreneurs, further fueling her fervor to mentor and foster their growth.

Today, Aziza is an accomplished African woman in STEM with a strong willingness to impact her community and enhance the quality of higher education in Africa. With a Master’s degree in Biotechnology and a post-graduate certificate in One Health from Duke University (USA), she possesses a unique blend of scientific expertise and a holistic approach to problem-solving. Her research straddles the intersection of Environmental Sciences, Health, Epigenetics and well-being at work, embodying her commitment to innovation that enriches lives.

Developing strong international university collaborations is the foundation of her efforts. She is the driving force behind an array of research and international capacity-building projects, spanning a myriad of critical domains, from leadership and governance to climate change, SDGs, e-learning, and internationalization. Throughout her career, Aziza has been actively engaged in promoting international collaboration and knowledge exchange, with a specific interest in women’s empowerment. As a young African, she strongly believes in the power of youth to reshape societies, enrich communities, and ignite change that resonates on a global scale.
