Kerry Laufer joined Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire (USA) in 2008. She has been the Director of the OnSite Global Consulting course at the Tuck School of Business since 2013. OnSite is a second year elective course in Tuck’s MBA curriculum. Since 1997, it has engaged student teams in real-world consulting assignments for corporate, government and non-profit sector clients around the world. Kerry is responsible for the academic and administrative oversight of the course. She is also a faculty advisor and has accompanied students to Côte d’Ivoire, Ethiopia, South Africa, the UK, Haiti, and Israel for projects. Prior to Dartmouth, Kerry was Vice Dean for Institutional Development and Quality Control at Effat University in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia (from 1999-2007). Instrumental in its start-up, she managed Effat’s international partnerships, laid the foundation for institutional accreditation, and championed the design and launch of new courses of study previously unavailable to women.
Kerry has traveled to more than 50 countries throughout her 20+ year career in education. She is a founding member of the Assurance of Learning Subcommittee of MBA Leaders in Experiential Project-Based Education, co-leads the Tuck Corporate Relations team, and has served on Tuck’s Curriculum Design Committee. She is also a member of the Global Business School Network’s Experiential Learning Advisory board, with whom she has co-led three international summits on experiential learning (in Cairo, Phnom Penh, and Lima). She holds an MA in Education from LaSalle University (1999) and a BA in French from Swarthmore College (1994).
