The 2017 Conference focuses on the innovative and interdisciplinary ways business schools are collaborating with academia, businesses, NGOs and the public sector to advance economic development and expand opportunities around the globe. Conference participants will examine the role business schools play in economic and social development, and assess the evolution of education in the face of recent world events.

GBSN harnesses the power of a network of over 70 leading business schools in 36 countries that share a dedication to our mission to build management education capacity for the developing world.
Kogod School of Business at American University is a leader in business education in the Washington, DC area. Kogod offers a myriad of undergraduate programs, as well as a Full-time MBA and seven specialized master’s degrees. Our programs, which are rooted in experiential learning, prepare graduates to work and lead in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors.
GW’s School of Business is an international leader in education and research, which prides itself on training future leaders to be global problem solvers and socially responsible managers.
The Robert H. Smith School of Business is an internationally recognized leader in management education and research. One of 12 colleges and schools at the University of Maryland, College Park, the Smith School offers undergraduate; full-time, part-time, online, and executive MBA; specialty masters; PhD; and executive education programs, as well as outreach services to the corporate community.
The GBSN members only meeting will be held at the University of Maryland College Park campus.
The Opening Keynote Conversation and Welcome Reception will be held on The American University campus.
The Cocktail Reception and Gala Dinner will be held at The George Washington University City View Room. This room has spectacular views of the National Mall.
Conference sessions will be held at fhi360 Conference Center.
