Catalina is currently finishing her bachelor’s degree in software engineering with a minor in business administration. She has been part of the Finance and Investment Club Uniandes since the beginning of her studies and has worked as Impact Finance Director and nowadays as Project Leader in this same area.


She is interested in the improvement of Colombia’s financial culture due to the benefits that it might have in communities’ quality of life and the reduction of wealth gaps. This has led her to start and participate in various projects mainly focused on the financial education of different communities such as high school students, FARC members, scholarship holders and cleaning and security personnel in Universidad de los Andes’ campus.


Catalina is also interested in other topics such as organizational culture, the psychology behind effective social interactions and the way technology helps businesses adapt and offer its customers greater value.
