Dr. Ta is currently an Assistant Professor of Logistics at Florida International University. Dr. Ta has a Ph.D. degree in Supply Chain Management from the University of Arkansas. Prior to pursuing her PhD, Dr. Ta held various managerial positions in international trade and inventory service management at several companies in both Vietnam and the United States.
Dr. Ta’s research expertise lies at the intersection of last mile delivery service design, technology management, and omni-channel retail. Her research examines the interplay between these domains, with a particular focus on the impact of emerging technologies on logistics operations. Specifically, Dr. Ta’s recent research has investigated the implications of technology-driven phenomena such as crowdsourcing models, block chain, and AI technology on various aspects of supply chain management and logistics service design. She has authored several publications in Elite and Top 50 Financial Times journals, including the Journal of Operations Management, Productions and Operations Management, Journal of Supply Chain Management, and Journal of Business Logistics.
