Mariella received her Ph.D. from Tilburg University in The Netherlands, an MBA from University du Quebec at Montreal, Canada, a master’s degree in Economics from UNALM in Peru and a Bachelor in Economics from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP).

Her research interest is in the area of Information Management, Management Global Education, virtual teams, cross-cultural studies and Internationalization strategies in Higher Education.

Currently she is the Associate Director of the Bachelor Programs at Universidad ESAN, Professor in the School of Economics and Management and Executive Coordinator in CLADEA, the Latin American Council of Management Schools. She is the Coordinator in ESAN of the Erasmus Link You+ Project to improve employability between Europe and Latin America.
