African Development Manager
As the African Development Manager at the Global Business School Network, Mathew is responsible for conducting research on African business universities, developing and maintaining relationships, managing and supporting network projects in Africa that includes resource development and enhancing strategic partnerships.
Mathew has 20 years of experience working in the corporate world for companies that include DHL International, Equifax, Citibank, Eliot Management and Humana.
Prior to joining GBSN, Mathew served as a Research Assistant at the University of Tampa. He worked in Ghana for four years as a Research Field Manager with Vitamin A, Supplementation Trial (VAST), which was sponsored by the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and the UN World Health Organization (WHO).
Mathew worked as a Liaison Officer to the District Chief Executive in the Kasena- Nankana District for the Government of Ghana to help facilitate opportunities for income mobilization with neighboring countries and international donors (NGOs) such as the world vision for community development. He brings 5 years of revenue mobilization and business management.
Mathew also did an internship with the American Chamber of Commerce during his undergraduate studies in China, (Beijing and Shanghai) adding to his experience in global business relations and management.
He is fluent in English and French and is conversational in Spanish.
Mathew earned his undergraduate degree in Business Management with a Minor in International Business at Eckerd College in Saint Petersburg Florida and is an MBA candidate at the University of Tampa (FL) in International Business.
