Director of the SWIFT Institute, overseeing the issuance of research grants on research to benefit the Financial Industry, publish Knowledge Briefs video series, engaging with students on Student Challenges and other competitions as well as coordinate events that bring academics and finance professionals together to discuss current issues facing the financial world. At SWIFT since 2006, Murphy has held various program management roles. Prior to SWIFT she spent over 15 years in the cable television industry notably at COMEDY CENTRAL in NYC managing all of the financial data systems from the inception of this cable TV Network until it became known throughout the globe.
