Radha Iyer is a Professor and the area chairperson for the general management with the K.J. Somaiya Institute of Management Studies and Research (SIMSR). She has a PhD from SNDT- Mumbai. Along with seventeen years of academic experience, she has a decade plus of industry experience with organizations in hospitality, shipping and fast moving consumer goods.
She has facilitated training and faculty development programmes for many organizations and associations in the areas of entrepreneurship, innovation and human resource management. She has been a visiting faculty at IIM Ranchi. She is the Chairperson for the Innovation & E cell and the Ankur Experiential Learning initiatives at her campus. Currently she facilitates courses on entrepreneurship, creativity & innovation, social entrepreneurship & managing new ventures.
She is the recipient four local awards for teaching. Her contribution to literature, are in the area of entrepreneurial education, women entrepreneurs, innovation, factors that influence entrepreneurship & management development. She supports community & the social aspects at her institute. She is an approved Ph.D. Supervisor for University of Mumbai.
