Rene Kiamba is a transformational, innovative and empowering strategic leader in business management and international development, with exceptional leadership and communications skills.
Since 2015, he has served as Senior Manager, Johnson & Johnson (J&J) Global Community Impact, Sub-Sahara Africa, and is based in Nairobi. In this role, he manages the partnerships with the various NGO’s, Universities, Business Schools, hospitals and Ministries of Health that partner with Johnson & Johnson to develop the leadership and management skills of healthcare leaders in Africa. This is in support of the overall J&J GCI strategy to support and champion the people on the frontlines at the heart of delivering care.
Rene has more than 20 years hands-on in sales, marketing and general management leadership experience, managing product lines and sales teams. He has over 12 years in international and cross-cultural social transformation and development experience, working with NGO’s, Schools of Businesses, Ministries of Health and multiple partners across Africa and globally. He is passionate to inspire, develop and release other leaders in order to create a stronger and healthier Africa.
Rene is a BA graduate (Economics & French) from the University of Nairobi. He also serves as the President of the International Christian Chamber of Commerce in Kenya, and is on several boards in Kenya and globally. He is an avid researcher and analyst of global geopolitical, economic, spiritual and social issues. Rene is also a certified Mentor & Business Coach.
Rene is married to Jane, and they have 2 daughters and 3 grand-children.
