Prof. Steven J. DeKrey is Associate Dean and Adjunct Professor of Management at HKUST and he represents HKUST in the HKUST-Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO Partnership as the Interim Dean and Chairman of the International Academic Council to help globalize the School and to launch the EMBA for Eurasia.
Prof. DeKrey’s past positions include President of the Asian Institute of Management, Senior Advisor to the President, Senior Associate Dean and Director of Masters Programs at HKUST, Director of the Saudi Arabia MBA Program which he helped initiated with Saudi Aramco, Director of MBA Programs at the University of Florida and Assistant Dean and Assistant Professor at Northwestern’s Kellogg School.
He is the Founding Director of the Kellogg-HKUST EMBA Program and he continues to direct this world’s 9th time #1 ranked program which is currently ranked #2. The HKUST MBA program was ranked in the top 10 in the world three times by the Financial Times under his past leadership and is currently #18. He teaches leadership seminars and courses and has coauthored three Asian Leadership books. He earned his PhD at the University of Iowa and his MBA at Northwestern’s Kellogg School.
