The Global Exchange: Conversations That Matter are exclusive gatherings designed specifically for GBSN members, offering a unique opportunity to engage in intimate, thought provoking conversations. This ensures that you never miss out on the insightful conversations, whether you can attend live or not. The podcasts allow you to revisit key moments or catch up at your convenience, empowering you to stay connected with GBSN’s thought leadership. These on-demand podcasts will continue to deliver whether you’re commuting, relaxing at home, or on the go, you’ll have access to the insights and inspiration you need — on your terms.

Members will have the option to join the live sessions to participate in real-time, ask questions, and engage directly with our special guests. Live Q&A

Our live Q&A sessions are designed to create an engaging experience for participants, ensuring a thoughtful and seamless flow to the conversation. To achieve this, we incorporate pre-selected questions that align with the session’s topic. These curated questions allow our speakers to dive deeper into the most pressing and relevant themes, maximizing the value of the conversation.

In addition to pre-selected questions, we value audience participation as an essential part of the experience. Live attendees will have the opportunity to pose their own questions during a dedicated segment at the end of the session. This interactive format ensures that your insights, curiosity, and concerns are heard and addressed in real time, fostering a truly collaborative environment. The Q&A will not be featured in the podcast and will only be available to members who join the live session.

Upcoming Sessions

February – Mike Posner

Join us for a discussion featuring Mike Posner, Jerome Kohlberg Professor of Ethics and Finance and the Director of the Center for Business and Human Rights at NYU’s Stern School of Business, as he addresses what lies at the root of the challenges global corporations face in addressing human rights failures in his new book, Conscience Incorporated. The rise of new technologies has made it easier than ever to document corporate misconduct — but many businesses continue to overlook their human rights failures. In Conscience Incorporated, Mike Posner draws from decades of experience in human rights advocacy to provide a blueprint for how businesses can adopt more ethical practices.

March – Dr. Victoria Galán-Muros

Join us for a session with Dr. Victoria Galán-Muros as we explore the transformative role of business schools in making a lasting impact through education, research, and outreach. In this conversation, Dr. Galán-Muros will dive into how business schools can elevate their influence by forging stronger connections with their parent institutions and embracing interdisciplinary collaboration.

Drawing from her extensive work at UNESCO, she will share insights into how universities can rethink the role of business schools—not just as academic entities, but as catalysts for broader institutional impact. Dr. Galán-Muros will highlight innovative strategies that bridge policies and practice in higher education, demonstrating how targeted outreach and research can drive meaningful change.
