Program in Management & Innovation for Agribusiness Entrepreneurs

Designed monitoring and evaluation framework for an agribusiness entrepreneurship training program in Africa

Overview

GBSN worked with USIU faculty to develop 12 new locally relevant case studies for a new course. GBSN’s role was to provide quality assurance of the case studies by overseeing a mentoring program for each of the case writers. GBSN engaged two international faculty experienced in mentoring case writers to work one-on-one with the USIU faculty in the development of the new cases. The program’s objective was to improve the management and leadership capacity of small scale agribusiness entrepreneurs through training to improve the quality and increase the productivity of the agricultural sector and thereby contribute to food security in Kenya.
