Dr. Disraeli Asante-Darko is an Associate Professor of Operations and Supply Chain Management and the Head of the Business Administration Department at Ashesi University, Ghana. He also serves as the Founding Director of Ashesi’s MBA program, where he leads the design of a case-based curriculum that bridges managerial theory with practice. With over a decade of combined industry and academic experience, Dr. Asante-Darko brings deep expertise in operations strategy, supply chain design, sustainability, and analytics-driven decision making. His research and consulting engagements span manufacturing, retail, and logistics sectors, focusing on how data and digital platforms enhance resilience and performance in African supply chains. A dynamic facilitator and mentor, he regularly conducts executive workshops in business acumen, problem-solving, and sustainable operations, while coaching entrepreneurs and managers to translate insights into measurable results. His scholarship has appeared in high-impact journals such as the Journal of Business Strategy and the Environment, and his teaching is distinguished by an applied, systems-thinking approach that develops both analytical and leadership capability in his students.
