Bucharest is the capital and largest city of Romania, located in the southeastern part of the country along the Dâmbovița River. It is a dynamic European metropolis that blends centuries of history with a rapidly evolving modern identity. As Romania’s political, economic, and cultural center, Bucharest serves as a hub for innovation, creativity, and intellectual exchange.

The city’s layered history is reflected in its diverse architecture, from historic churches and 19th-century buildings to remnants of the communist era, alongside contemporary developments. Landmarks such as the Palace of the Parliament, the Old Town (Lipscani), and Revolution Square highlight Bucharest’s past, while its growing arts scene, vibrant food culture, and lively public spaces reflect the city’s forward-looking spirit.

Situated in the Bucharest–Ilfov region, the city experiences a continental climate and offers convenient access to other parts of Romania. From its energetic urban life to its proximity to cultural and natural destinations, Bucharest provides a compelling setting that connects history, progress, and possibility
