Join Us at GBSN Beyond 2026 in Bucharest, Romania!
GBSN Beyond 2026 – From Potential to Progress: The Transformative Role of Business Schools will be held in Bucharest, Romania, October 26-28, 2026 and hosted by Bucharest University of Economic Studies (ASE).
Shaped by successive waves of political, economic, and social change, Bucharest offers a compelling setting in which to reflect on the role of management education in society. Romania’s economy, its European integration, and its position at the crossroads of Central and Eastern Europe provide a living laboratory for understanding how transformation unfolds in practice. Regional realities—such as conflict (both physical and digital), energy and food insecurity, and political polarization—remind us that we live in a fragmented and fragile world. These conditions underscore the need for resilience and adaptability, and for business schools to be purposeful in developing the kinds of leaders, organizations, and ecosystems that make the world a better place

Join global leaders in education, industry, and policymaking as we examine how business schools act as anchor institutions, embedded in their communities and shaping enterprises, ecosystems, and talent for prosperity. Together, we’ll tackle pressing questions like:
- How can quality management education be scaled across a nation and region for more inclusive growth?
- In what ways can business schools strengthen the institutions that enable commerce to thrive, catalyze innovation that enhances productivity and inclusive growth, and provide the kind of education and research that inform action and address critical societal challenges?
By grounding our conversations in Bucharest, Romania, and the region, GBSN Beyond 2026 will address these and other questions about the role of business schools in fostering prosperity.
