GBSN Members are Invited to June’s Cross-Border Collab – Art, Activism, and Business: Inspiring Change with Bill Carter

Join us for our June GBSN Collab session featuring guest speaker Bill Carter, a renowned author, filmmaker, and humanitarian activist. Bill will delve into his journey of writing “Fools Rush In” and producing the film “Kiss the Future,” which vividly portrays the siege of Sarajevo and the resilience of humanity amidst adversity. Through compelling storytelling, Bill highlights the importance of intent and action, drawing parallels with impactful business decisions, including those of U2. Don’t miss this insightful exploration of how art, activism, and business intertwine to inspire positive change in our world.

We hope GBSN Members will join this unique session where we will explore questions like:

  • How do you see the role of artists and filmmakers in influencing business leaders and policymakers to take action on social and humanitarian issues?
  • Can you share examples from your work where creative initiatives, such as “Kiss the Future,” have sparked meaningful collaboration between businesses, activists, and communities?
  • In your view, what are the key lessons that business leaders can learn from the strategies employed by artists and activists to create lasting impact and drive social change?
