University of Miami, United States | March 7-8, 2024
On March 7-8, 2024, the University of Miami and IE University will host the 14th edition of “Reinventing Higher Education”, a conference designed to examine issues set to impact academia, government, and the private sector, as their future workforce continues to face an ever-changing environment. The event, which will take place at University of Miami’s Newman Alumni Center, will gather once more experts from all continents to address questions critical to academia, government and the private sector on the role of universities as global agents of innovation and the need for education systems to be responsive as well as catalysts for positive change in our societies.
The upcoming edition revolves around the theme of “Reinventing Higher Education: Connecting the Dots.” This theme emphasizes the crucial link between higher education and cross-collaborative innovation, enabling all the stakeholders to tackle pressing societal issues. It also highlights the integration of emerging technologies like AI into the educational landscape, forging a new path for effective teaching and learning. By connecting various domains of knowledge, the event aims to achieve convergent outcomes that propel the field of education forward. Moreover, the conference will reflect on models such as consortiums and alliances, where each participant contributes to the thriving ecosystem.
Launched in 2010 at IE University, Reinventing Higher Education is a symposium organized in collaboration with the IE Foundation. The overarching aim of the Conference is to provide a platform where university administrators, policy makers, entrepreneurs and top managers, academics, student representatives and media experts can meet to discuss the current status and future evolution of Higher Education (HE), and debate the direction research, learning, governance and management of universities should now take.
