Following up after an interview can be the difference between getting the job and not. Many people are not aware of the rules of following up such as:
đ How long to wait before following up
đ What you should say in your follow up
đ If you should follow up if you donât hear back
đ What you should NOT say in a follow up
While waiting for a response can feel long, following-up is part of the process and can be the difference between getting a second interview or not making any progress with your application.
In this workshop, our Career Coach-in-Residence, Iyad Uakoub, will demonstrate how you can follow-up respectfully, get more responses, and stand out during the hiring process.

IFC is the largest global development institution focused on the private sector in developing countries. IFC, a member of the World Bank Group, advances economic development and improves the lives of people by encouraging the growth of the private sector in developing countries. We achieve this by creating new markets, mobilizing other investors, and sharing expertise. In doing so, we create jobs and raise living standards, especially for the poor and vulnerable. Our work supports the World Bank Groupâs twin goals of ending extreme poverty and boosting shared prosperity. IFC was founded in 1956 on a bold idea: that the private sector has the potential to transform developing countries.
