Position Summary:
The Coordinator, Student Programs implements GBSN programs and initiatives that create knowledge, experiences, and relationships to address challenges aligned with the mission of GBSN. This role coordinates a portfolio of programs and initiatives tailored to current university students, while also enhancing opportunities to leverage other GBSN programs for added student value and engagement. The Coordinator ensures participants are appropriately supported, timelines are met and managed, project milestones and goals are achieved, and program operations are integrated into overall organizational operations and communications. This position also may be called on to support the execution of the organization’s annual conference, GBSN Beyond, and other organizational initiatives in ways commensurate with the role.
Position Responsibilities:
- Coordinate student challenges, including producing and organizing program materials, recruiting participants and volunteers, coordinating with teams, mentors, judges, sponsors and other volunteers, communicating with participants, and hosting/providing tech support for virtual meetings and presentations.
- Provide coordination and implementation support for other designated programs including student fellowship and faculty programs.
- Cultivate institutional and student engagement in programs/projects, including development of mechanisms to capture and maintain program and participant records in support of network-building goals and GBSN data management procedures and platforms.
- Support communications campaigns that build community, boost awareness/engagement, and ensure consistent and professional brand representation.
- Assist GBSN Beyond conference planning team with coordination, project/data management, & communication support, as required.

Ideal candidates for this position will also have:
- Minimum two years of work experience, preferably with responsibility for project management and volunteer/customer engagement in a portfolio of programs.
- Hands-on experience with social media management and familiarity with communication principles for brands.
- Ability to utilize and adapt to various software tools and platforms to improve efficiency. Experience with survey tools, project management tools, presentation/design applications (PowerPoint, Canva), and CRM software.
- Experience running programs on Zoom and/or MS Teams and using features for large groups/webinars. Comfort troubleshooting live tech issues.
- Excellent time management, project planning, and organizational skills.
- Fluency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and G Suite (Docs, Sheets, etc.) with proficiency creating and formatting complex documents and spreadsheets.
- Excellent verbal communication and writing skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Undergraduate degree in a business or other relevant field.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The salary range for the Program Coordinator is $50,000-$65,000, commensurate with experience. GBSN also offers a competitive benefits package.
This is a full-time, fully remote position with benefits. Typical office hours are 9 am – 5 pm US Eastern time, with occasional programs and obligations taking place in the mornings, evenings or weekends to accommodate our global operations. We are open to some flexibility in scheduling that aligns with our program and operational needs. The position may require occasional domestic and/or international travel.
