The Global Business School Network (GBSN) invites faculty from member schools to apply to serve as a DHL GoTrade GBSN Faculty Fellow.
This is a unique opportunity to engage in a high-impact initiative connecting DHL professionals, graduate business students, and small business owners in emerging markets.

- An expert in international trade, supply chain, or logistics with a focus on SMEs?
- Energized by opportunities to support highly motivated students on applied & experiential projects?
- Interested in collaborating with global peers and professionals on trade and development?
As a DHL GoTrade GBSN Faculty Fellow, you will:
- Serve as an expert advisor by attending three Business Review Meetings (BRMs), providing feedback to student-entrepreneur teams in emerging markets
- Share insights to grow SMEs, develop future leaders, and drive business growth through trade
- Engage in conversations on global trade challenges and nurture international collaborations for business development research and practice
Time Commitment
- Attend three virtual Business Review Meetings (~2 hours each) over the Fellowship period.
In these meetings, you’ll join DHL Country Managers to hear project updates from SME-student pairs and give brief expert feedback to guide their next stage of work together. Applications are due by 11:59pm, Sunday, July 6.
GBSN will also facilitate various optional opportunities, such as:
- Speaking opportunities as an expert presenter/facilitator for virtual gatherings of DHL GoTrade Student Fellows and/or SMEs
- Networking opportunities with other Faculty Fellows
- Additional conversations & collaborations as suggested by Faculty Fellows

What is the GBSN DHL GoTrade Fellowship?
The DHL GoTrade Fellowship is designed to partner selected postgraduate business students with small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in developing and least developed countries. The aim is to enable SMEs to access the global market and to enhance student development with practical learning opportunities.
The Fellowship teaches SMEs and Fellows about the value of cross-border trade and gives SMEs the tools to access the global marketplace. This program creates meaningful experiential learning opportunities for top-performing business students, who will learn through collaboration with SMEs how to operate in often ill-defined markets, with scarce resources, in less structured environments.
