Dr. Marina Arnaut is Assistant Professor of Management and Entrepreneurship at DBS. She received her Ph.D. in Entrepreneurship Management from Edinburgh Business School in the UK. Dr. Marina has considerable experience in transnational education. Prior to joining DBS, she was serving as a faculty member at the Lebanese American University in Beirut, Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania and Heriot Watt University in Dubai. Dr. Arnaut’s has worked extensively with the Global Research and Innovation Center. Her research portfolio includes numerous publications in international refereed journals, focusing on customer relationship management, entrepreneurship, HR, and environmental sustainability. Alongside her teaching roles, she remains deeply engaged with both local and international business communities, establishing new partnerships and supporting existing collaborations. She actively presents at prestigious conferences like AIB MENA Chapter, Dubai X10 and Women Leaders with Tech, solidifying her reputation as a thought leader in both academic and business sectors. Prior to academic career, Dr. Marina Arnaut has worked as HR specialist and Business Development Managing Director in the soft commodities sector. With 15 years of experience she was driving organizational change through the strategic integration of people and technology. During her tenure at the world-renowned Swiss company Paul Reinhart AG, Marina developed extensive expertise in managing venture growth and transition throughout various geographical locations, contributing significantly to the companies’ global growth and transformation.
