Dr. Priya Solomon

Dr. Priya Solomon is a distinguished academic leader, finance educator, researcher, and administrator with over 22+ years of experience in higher education and academic leadership. Presently she is Head of Department (Finance) at Universal Ai University.She completed her doctorate (PhD) from the University of Allahabad. Her other notable academic qualifications include M.A. in Economics, M.Sc. in Finance, Chartered Financial Analyst (ICFAI University), UGC-NET qualification, and a Post Graduate Program in Business Analytics for Strategic Decision Making from IIT Roorkee. A prolific scholar, Dr. Solomon has authored four books, 29 Scopus-indexed publications, 27 book chapters (17 Scopus-indexed), and 30 journal articles (including 12 in ABDC-listed journals). Her research spans corporate finance, fintech, blockchain applications in finance, securities and portfolio analysis, behavioural finance, climate finance, sustainability, ESG, SDGs and carbon credits. She has guided PhD scholars and serves as a reviewer and editorial board member for international Scopus-indexed journals.Dr. Solomon is the recipient of numerous awards, including the Outstanding Academic Leader Award (2024), International Distinguished Keynote Speaker Award (2023), Emerald Literati Award for Outstanding Paper (2023), and multiple Best Paper Awards at national and international conferences.
