Assistant Professor and Director of International Partnerships, Coventry University
Jaliyyah is an Assistant Professor in Finance. Within this role, she serves as the Director of International Partnerships and a Sustainability Champion for the Faculty of Business and Law. She obtained her PhD in Finance, and She is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Her principal teaching and research interests include, behavioural finance, investment analysis, financial trading, financial contagion, and sustainable development.
Jaliyyah cofounded the Coventry University Education for Sustainable Development Working Group which actively engage in supporting staff to embed sustainability into their teaching. She is member of the University’s Ethical Investment Working Group contributing to the delivery of the University’s Ethical Investment Policy as well as encouraging students to be part of the Working Group and influence University policy. She is also a member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities Higher Education and SDGs Network. Jaliyyah is the 2021 CEEMAN Responsible Management Educator of the Year.
