A portfolio of World-class Leadership Programmes

Global Executive MBA (GEMBA)

With modules taught across Africa, China, Europe, and beyond, CEIBS GEMBA participants benefit from unmatched global exposure and a multicultural cohort that reflects the complexities of modern business.

Full-Time MBA

The CEIBS Full-Time MBA, ranked No.12 globally and No.1 in Asia for 8 consecutive years, is an intensive programme that combines a solid foundation in business fundamentals with leadership development, innovation, and global exposure. For African students, it opens doors to China’s vast business ecosystem while nurturing the skills to lead transformative change back home.

Advanced Management Programme (AMP)

Targeted at senior executives and C-suite leaders, the AMP helps participants refine strategic thinking, sharpen decision-making, and deepen their understanding of global trends that affect African markets. Delivered in immersive modules, it is a powerful stepping-stone for leaders seeking to make lasting impact in complex environments.

Owner Director Programme (ODP)

CEIBS Africa’s ODP is tailored for entrepreneurs and family business owners. It provides practical frameworks to address challenges such as governance, succession, scaling, and innovation. Participants leave with actionable strategies to future-proof their businesses and expand regionally and globally.

Women Entrepreneurship and Leadership for Africa (WELA)

CEIBS Africa is proud to champion women in business through the WELA programme, designed to equip African women entrepreneurs with the tools, networks, and confidence to scale their ventures. With two cohorts based in Accra and Lagos, WELA is more than just a course. It is a movement that builds lasting support systems for female-led businesses across the continent.

Company-Specific Programmes (CSPs)

Through bespoke programmes developed in collaboration with private and public sector organizations, CEIBS Africa addresses unique challenges in strategy, innovation, leadership, and operational excellence. These tailored interventions create measurable impact and sustainable transformation for companies in diverse industries.

China Immersion: A Unique Bridge to the East

One of CEIBS Africa’s most distinctive offerings is the China Immersion Programme, a learning journey that takes participants to China to gain first-hand experience of one of the world’s most dynamic economies. During this programme, African executives interact with Chinese peers, visit leading Chinese companies, and explore opportunities for trade, investment, and partnerships. Beyond the academic experience, this is also a platform for building bridges between Africa and China. A highlight of the China Immersion for WELA is an unforgettable immersive visit to Alibaba Headquarters in Hangzhou where participants experience firsthand how one of the world’s most influential tech giants has revolutionized e-commerce, fintech, and logistics not just in China, but globally. The WELA immersion also includes a trip to Yiwu, home to the world’s largest wholesale market, where women entrepreneurs gain direct insights into global supply chain dynamics, sourcing strategies, and product innovation. This visit empowers participants with practical tools to engage the global supply chain structures to scale their businesses through direct trade connections and supplier engagement.

Building Social Capital through Open Enrollment Programmes

CEIBS Africa’s short-term executive training programmes play an important role in building social capital across Africa. Held in different countries, these programmes bring together senior leaders, policymakers, and experts from various fields to learn from each other and share ideas. Through these sessions, CEIBS Africa helps create strong professional networks and lasting relationships between individuals and institutions, exploring collaboration opportunities across the continent.

A Global Network with African Roots

With its strong emphasis on cross-cultural competence and global business dynamics, CEIBS Africa is a launchpad for African talent onto the global stage. Its alumni network spans over 90 countries globally; with three alumni chapters (Ghana, Nigeria and Francophone chapters) in Africa, allowing it opportunities for collaboration, mentorship, and investment across borders.

Connecting Continents Through Education: CEIBS Africa’s Role in GBSN

CEIBS Africa’s decision to sponsor the GBSN Beyond Conference 2025, as a member, is rooted in its commitment to shaping global leaders with local impact. GBSN’s mission to improve access to quality, locally relevant management education aligns perfectly with CEIBS Africa’s vision of developing leaders who understand the global context but act effectively within Africa’s unique socio-economic environments.

More specifically, CEIBS Africa’s mission aligns with GBSN Beyond 2025’s theme, “Entrepreneurs, Enterprises, & Ecosystems,” as we work to equip a generation of business leaders who are not only building path-breaking ventures but also trying to understand how to shape the ecosystem around them to support their business operations. These theme elements resonate through our Women Entrepreneurship and Leadership for Africa (WELA) programme, the Owner Director Programme (ODP), the CEIBS Global EMBA, and tailored world-class education grounded in global insights into business processes and local opportunities for application.  While at this, we actively cultivate innovative ecosystems through strategic partnerships and alumni-led networks.

As the host of the 2025 GBSN Beyond members meeting, CEIBS Africa is proud to welcome our colleagues from business programs around the world to Accra. We hope to provide a convenient setting for the discussion on how universities and business schools can serve as catalysts for entrepreneurial success and economic transformation of a continent that wants to industrialize but also create jobs.
