Congratulations to longtime GBSN member and friend, David Capodilupo, for being named Assistant Dean of Global Programs at MIT Sloan School of Management!
David Capodilupo has been at the MIT Sloan School of Management since 2002, initially serving as Executive Director of the both the MBA and the Master of Science in Management Studies Programs. Prior to this appointment, David was the Executive Director the Office of International Programs.
His programs portfolio includes established collaborations with Master’s programs and academic institutions within Malaysia, China, Korea, Lisbon, India, Moscow, Turkey, Taiwan, and Brazil. David also initiated and manages the MIT Sloan Latin America Office in Santiago, Chile.
David has over 30 years of executive level experience across client services, process improvement, sales, and marketing with leading investment firms. His accomplishments range from process improvement/change management, project management, and team leadership within financial services and higher education. David has held senior vice president positions at Putnam Investments and Fidelity Investments in operations, sales, and marketing functions. His responsibilities included brokerage services, family office, shareholder and 401(k) client services, and trust operations.
David founded Aspen Concepts, LLC, a consulting firm specializing in environmental investments with the Chinese Government, and TribeHive, LLC, a firm focusing on software development for executive training and placement.
He is a member of The Boeing 727 Prototype Restoration Team, Board of Directors, Future of Flight Museum, Everett, WA. He is a former board member of the MIT Sloan School North American Executive Board and The MassArt Foundation.
David has also served on GBSN’s Academic Advisory Board for many years. This board is responsible for reviewing and granting network membership to institutions.
