Pediatric Nephrologist with Msc and PhD in Biomedical Sciences. Since 2013 Director of the undergraduate program and associate professor of the School of Medicine at Universidad de los Andes. Since 2018 until now, Dean of the School of Medicine. She combines her academic life with clinical assistance work in the university hospital Fundación Santa Fe de Bogotá. In recent years her research has focused on medical education, Other research lines include primary tubulopathies, mineral balance and bone disease, and kidney transplantation in children. Founding member and active partner of the Colombian Association of Pediatric Nephrology and formerly councilor at the International Nephrology Pediatric Association (IPNA).
