Dr. Lago holds three degrees: Doctor of Philosophy in Engineering, University of California at Berkeley Master of Science (Engineering), University of California at Berkeley Degree in Civil Engineering, Universitat Politcnica de Catalunya. The new board member also completed a program for management development at IESE Business School.
Career Ð Researcher to Professor
Dr. Lago worked as a researcher for the French Commissariat for Atomic Energy (CEA) and Institute for Transportation Studies (ITS). Additionally, he became a seasoned professional as a consultant in operations and service management. Currently, Lago is a Professor in the Production, Technology and Operations Management Department at IESE.
Interests Ð Revolving Around Operations and Management
From large transport and distribution system optimization to supplier and customer operations involvement in new technology, Dr. Lago’s interests seem to revolve around complex operations systems management. However, his knack for operations has not stunted his entrepreneurial endeavors. Lago acts as a partner in startup initiatives for new mobile technologies.
