GBSN member school, Maastricht School of Management (MSM) located in The Netherlands, has a joint MBA program with CENTRUM Católica Graduate Business School, which is ranked the number one international MBA program in Latin America (Eduniversal 2015-2016).
The 2-year International MBA program is the first of its kind in Peru. It is a part-time bilingual program that grants two simultaneous degrees:
- Master in Strategic Business Administration, granted by CENTRUM
- Master of Business Administration in General and Strategic Management, granted by MSM.
As part of the program, students attend a 4-week visit to MSM’s campus in Maastricht, where students fulfill four management courses International Business, Global Supply Chain Management, Managing Cultural Diversity, and Global Corporate Strategy.
Students also are provided opportunities to tour and network with leading companies in Europe. The most recent cohort of Peruvian students just completed the 4-week program on November 17, 2017, where they had the opportunity to visit and network with a number of international companies and organizations, like the EU in Brussels, Greenport Venlo, Seacon Logistics and Nike.
At the City Hall in Venlo students listened to Economic Advisor, Ms. Ellen Berkvens present on the Greenport. The Venlo region was the first region in the world to fully embrace cradle-to-cradle (C2C) design. Seacon Logistics is a lucrative Dutch company that is a pioneer in multi-modal transport with a presence in more than 75 countries. Students experienced a tour of the warehouse and inland harbor. At the EU Commission, students attended two presentations: The European Commission: the Political Executive of the European Union by Mr. Simon Pascoe, from the Directorate-General for Communication, and The EU’s Competition Policy by Mr. Cyril Hariton from the Directorate-General for Competition. Students also toured the new Nike European Logistics Center in Ham, Belgium, the biggest distribution center in Europe and the largest in the world.
MSM’s joint MBA program with CENTRUM provides a truly cultural diverse learning experience that offers a global perspective.
This MBA program is just one of many International MBA programs MSM offers.
MSM and CENTRUM also offer a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) program in Peru and Colombia.
