University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business Moves to D.C.

Symphony_DixonSchools in the Washington, D.C. area welcome new neighbor University of Virginia Darden School of Business. In August, about 50 students will further their business education at the new Rosslyn campus. The GBSN member school has been anticipating the move for some months. Darden will fit perfectly in the greater Washington D.C. area as it aims to partner with local business schools like Howard University School of Business, George Washington University School of Business, and Georgetown University McDonough School of Business.

The Darden School of Business will offer a one-of-a-kind business enrichment experience, no longer exclusive to the Charlottesville campus. District area students that admire Darden for its collaboration of government, military and business will have access to the education that was ranked No. 2 on The Economist’s 10th Annual Top International Business Program list and No.1 in Forbes Magazine student satisfaction survey by business school graduates in 2015.

Rosslyn will join Darden’s other three locations as a global campus. Rosslyn’s proximity to Union Station and D.C. airports offer more convenience and flexibility for students and visiting business executives. With finalizations underway, University of Virginia students are most excited about the expansion in options and opportunities.
